Purpose of the job
The rollout consultant is responsible for detailed set up (use of screens documents reports inquiries and business controls) to solve application related and/or integration related issues and to transfer knowledge about the above to the local sites to ensure that a terminal can operate and is in control after the rollout consultants have left.
Key Accountabilities
The Rollout Consultant is responsible for the following tasks:
Set up prototype environment including initial testing co-write business scenarios. This is done in close cooperation with the Key Users.
Key User training: transfer Core Plus & Plex Plus domain knowledge to Key Users by means of application training during Site Acceptance Test.
Assist in Data preparation: prepare and supply standard formats to help local community in preparing data to be uploaded in the Core Plus & Plex Plus applications.
Assist in updating project documentation such as business scenarios but also procedures draft a Go Live approach including conversion tools and control reports. conform the best fitting cutover strategy. Assist in setting up the production environment with local terminal data including running control reports.
Support Key Users in their support role after Go Live.
Provide additional training to end users after Go Live (e.g. training on the job).
In case a change / enhancement of software is considered needed by the terminal the rollout consultant will assist in drafting a request.
In case tests result in issues the rollout consultant will assist in correctly and completely logging the issue. Same goes for the period after testing up to and including support stage.
Functional expertise & (Know How)
Academic or comparable education in the field of Information Technology or Business Management or a demonstrated background in Vopaks frontline execution jobs (Customer Service Operations).

Flexibility in performing tasks adapting to changing circumstances and working in a dynamic environment
Independently working and deciding within limits as agreed upon
Able to handle stressful situations
Ability to adapt to different local situations around the world and different cultures
Knowledgeable of the tank storage terminal processes within the relevant domain.
Knowledgeable of the Moves toolkit
Competencies
The rollout consultant has a good balance between the following qualifications:
A sharp analytical nature a pragmatic mentality and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Excellent skills in both written and verbal reporting
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications and project supporting applications
Excellent facilitation skills for workshops
Fluent in English (and depending the country other language skills might be required)
Willing to travel regularly when necessary
Willing to stay at a location for a longer period of time (multiple months)
An interdisciplinary vision
Creativity in finding the most appropriate solutions for issues
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Excellent teaching and coaching skills
Relevant Core Plus & Plex Plus application knowledge in the relevant domain(s).
Is aware of the way of working at the location the Division and the global Moves organization.
