Job Description Summary

The General Manager Power Conversion & Storage LATAM is responsible for full regional P&L (160m$ sales 200M$ internal and external orders 700 employees) commercial and execution performance in the region including team leadership business development orders sales engineering project execution production after sales services & customer relations.

In this role you have a full regional P&L responsibility and the ownership across all functions (manufaturing sales tendering engineering project quality EHS services).

Job Description

You are responsible to

  • Define the business strategy for the region in conjunction with other Power Conversion & Storage stakeholders
  • Work with global Product & Technology group to choose the right product & strategy roadmap
  • Build a growth plan to develop the business globally in conjunction with other Power Conversion operations
  • Execute business plan in accordance with the region blueprint driving commercial technical & project execution
  • Deliver to our customers on time at expected cost and with the right level of quality
  • Provide aspirational leadership to the local team whilst continuing to develop the technical skills & capabilities required to ensure our success across commercial engineering project management production
  • Design develop and implement process improvements through LEAN methodologies focusing on enhanced quality consistent with objectives;

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing a comparable size P&L previously
  • Solid understanding of system integration challenges
  • Track record in project execution with focus on delivering to customers on time and with the right level of quality
  • Strong commercial acumen; ability to build and retain relations with customers
  • Strong business and transformation capabilities will be valuable coupled with strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Progressive leadership in project sales or general management with measurable achievements and results and significant exposure to the relevant market

Other Key Information:

  • Position is based at our offices in Campinas Brazil
  • Estimated orders volume: >$200 MM (internal and external orders)
  • Main locations in Campinas includes 1 manufacturing site
  • Responsible for Latin America
  • HC 700 people (mostly in Campinas & Belo and also teams outside Brazil)
