What Youll Do:
- Providecritical support to Brockton Housing Authority (BHA) tenants at risk of losing housing due to age-related challenges or behavioral health needs:
- Assess tenant needs and design intervention strategies with multidisciplinary teams.
- Mediate disputes provide short-term counseling and link tenants to mental health/social services.
- Coordinate with BHA DMH and DPH to address lease violations and stabilize tenancies.
- Organize community education programs and support Tenant Associations.
- Maintain timely documentation and comply with all clinical and safety standards.
What You Bring:
- Education: Bachelors in human services (Masters in Social Work preferred) OR HS diploma/GED substantial experience with elderly/special needs populations.
- Skills: Crisis intervention advocacy and case management expertise.
- Requirements: Valid drivers license reliable transportation and cultural sensitivity.
