Are you a Site Engineer ready to take the next step in your career We are currently hiring for a pivotal role on a large-scale educational project in Letterkenny Co. Donegal with one of Irelands most established main contractors.

With over six decades of experience across both civil and building works this company is known for delivering complex high-value projects across Ireland and Europe. From hospitals and data centres to major infrastructure schemes and educational facilities their track record speaks for itself. This is a unique opportunity to join a project that will positively impact the regions educational infrastructure while gaining hands-on experience with a Tier 1 contractor that actively supports career progression and continued learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting out and surveying works to ensure alignment with design drawings.

  • Coordinating with subcontractors foremen and site operatives to deliver high-quality work.

  • Conducting quality checks and preparing accurate site documentation.

  • Maintaining site safety and contributing to a culture of compliance and best practice.

  • Liaising with the design and management teams to report progress and resolve technical queries.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working on building projects (residential commercial healthcare or education).
  • Experience in setting out reading drawings and working with architectural/structural details.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced site environment.
