The Capital Markets Analytics Associate will provide critical support to a growing team that sits at the nexus of many business functions. This role will work closely with the Capital Markets teams Underwriting Business Intelligence and the Chief Risk Officer to assess loan performance minimize losses and protect GoodLeaps long-term profitability. This role will create visualizations in Tableau for tracking the effectiveness of new strategies and will have regular opportunity to interface with GoodLeap executives and with GoodLeaps many investors.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the execution of capital markets deals including due diligence documentation and investor communication.
Assist in risk assessments and maintain strategies to mitigate exposure. Comply with regulatory frameworks and support filings/submissions.
Work alongside teams such as Treasury Risk Management Business Intelligence to minimize losses to protect long-term profitability.
Suggest improvements in modeling processes documentation and workflow efficiency.
Required Skills Knowledge and Abilities:
Minimum bachelors (or advanced) degree in Economics or Finance
2-4 years of experience in banking management consulting or specialty finance
Must possess strong technical acumen in SQL and Tableau Python is a Plus
Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel without use of a mouse PowerPoint); familiarity with Databricks
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
Ability to handle multiple projects at once and meet deadlines; comfortable working on a lean team in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with structured finance and capital markets
Superb attention to detail work ethic and eagerness to learn
Knowledge of consumer finance concepts including credit risk modeling loan lifecycle and performance metrics
Strong technical acumen for modeling projects
Compensation:$130000 - $145000 annually plus bonus and equity
