About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Store Person to load and unload our clients freight ensuring the product is received in a prime and quality condition.
This is a fulltime role working on our morning shift Starting at 2:00am Monday to Saturday based at our Wellington branch.
What youll be doing
- Loading/unloading of trucks
- Positioning pallets and sorting freight
- Checking line-haul and metro units are operating at correct temperatures before opening doors to unload.
- Ensuringboth the chiller and freezer floors are clear every morning and any remaining items are loaded to the correct runs before departure
- Ensuring Health and Safety compliance both personally and within the team
About You
- OSH approved up-to-date Forklift License
- Minimum 1-2 years experience operating a Forklift
- Experience in freight loading in temperature-controlled environments advantageous
- Keen understanding of inventory management and cycle of order fulfilment
- Experience working in temperature-controlled environments - advantageous
