Department Overview
Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) in collaboration with Oregon Health & Science University are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner to join our established Orthopedic and Sports Medicine team in Astoria Oregon.

Function/Duties of Position
Our opening offers the opportunity to join a group of experienced surgeons and physician associates who provide orthopedic and sports medicine care to patients in a community clinic setting. We offer a positive work-life alignment where comprehensive quality outpatient and surgical care is a priority.
- General orthopedic practice that specializes in hip knee and shoulder knee/shoulder arthroscopy and basic fractures with a high concentration of total join replacements.
- Exciting practice expansion this fall with the addition of an Orthopedic Upper Extremity/Hand surgeon.
- Four-day work week with dedicated OR outpatient and administrative time.
- Busy orthopedic practice working with experienced surgeons and physician associates.
- Autonomy in seeing new and established adult and pediatric patients.
- Excellent support staff to provider ratio.
Compensation and Benefits

Required Qualifications
- Two (2) year surgical PA/NP experience
- Active unrestricted Oregon Physician Associate/Nurse Practitioner license
- Active unrestricted DEA Certificate
- ACLS America Heart Association certification
Physician Associate Requirements
- Masters or baccalaureate degree and completion of an ARCA-PA approved program
- Current NCCPA certification
- Active unrestricted Oregon Physician Associate license
Nurse Practitioner Requirements:
- Masters post-masters or doctorate degree in a nurse practitioner program accredited by CCNE or ACEN
