Job Description
- Abscess Incision & Drainage Anesthesia local Arterial Punctures Arterial Line removal Bladder Irrigation
- EKG Recording
- Foley Catheters insertion and removal
- Injections Sub Q IM intradermal for minor ER surgery
- Intravenous Medication Administration
- Nasogastric Tubes insertion and removal
- First Assist in the Operating Room
- Assist in preform D & C or D&E
- Surgical Dressings application/removal
- Sutures and/or staple removal
- Venipuncture
- Wound Debridement
- ER consult and floor consults
- Admitpatients f/upatients in service and write daily progress notes
- Order and interpret diagnostic labs and imaging
- Preop and post-op care
- Obtain informed consents as needed
- Update Beta list
- Prostaglandins insertion for medical termination
- endometrial cervical vaginal and vulva biopsy
- Accessing of port-a cath
- Coordination of care at time of discharge for safe transfer to outpatient care
