Job Description

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance / Human Resources/ Business Administration or a related discipline
  • Preferably with 3 years relevant experience gained in payroll office in sizable companies and with supervisory experience
  • Hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Payroll System and Oracle Financial System and proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Well-versed in Inland Revenue Ordinance Employment Ordinance and other relevant statutory requirements related to payroll
  • Self-motivated able to work independently and under tight timeline with good leadership and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all-round termination payroll activities and other non-recurrent remuneration payments employer tax returns MPF and ORSO scheme contributions and related scheme reporting
  • Prepare month-end closing specific to payroll including monthly journal posting and accounts reconciliations
  • Manage financial accounting for recreation clubhouses of the Corporation and related reports such as monthly income statement and balance sheet statement
  • Ensure responsible payroll services comply with statutory requirements and company polices
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on payroll related matters and enquiries
  • Assist in Human Resources Management System (HRMS) or related system enhancement projects and user acceptance tests
