You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe DCF Grants and Contracts Unit comprises twenty-one staff working closely with internal and external partners to support DCFs initiatives. This position should have an understanding of the life cycle of an agreement which may include a grant contract memorandum of understanding and statement of work for example. Applicants should have experience with and/or working knowledge of Uniform Guidance the Agency of Administrations Bulletins 3.5 and 5 VISION with regards to purchase orders and query. Your cover letter should outline your experience with the Agency Bulletins VISION and your optimal work environment.
This is a Monday through Friday position based out of the Waterbury State Complex with an opportunity for a hybrid schedule of in-office and telework.

AHS BACKGROUND CHECKS: Candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the accordance with AHS Policy 4.02 Hiring Standards Vermont and/or national criminal record checks as well as DMV and adult and child abuse registry checks as appropriate to the position under recruitment will be conducted on candidates with the exception of those who are current classified state employees seeking transfer promotion or demotion into an AHS classified position or are persons exercising re-employment (RIF) rights.
Duties are performed primarily in a standard office environment as well as in the field for which private means of transportation must be available. Some evening and weekend work may be necessary. Considerable tact and diplomacy will be required for effective performance. Extensive interaction with a broad range of community groups service providers advocacy groups and other state and federal agencies will occur. Stress may be encountered from deadlines and from operating in a highly publicized and public setting.
Bachelors degree or higher AND two (2) years of work experience that includes one or more of the following: (a) administration of grants/contracts as a funder and/or recipient; (b) collaboration with community partners in the delivery of social services; c) enforcement of provider agreements; OR d) management of financial affairs or a governmental accounting system.

Four (4) years of experience that includes one or more of the following: (a) administration of grants/contracts as a funder and/or recipient; (b) collaboration with community partners in the delivery of social services; c) enforcement of provider agreements; OR d) management of financial affairs or a governmental accounting system.
