Job Description
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering advanced degree preferred but not required
- 4 years of experience in the manufacturing industry highly preferred backgrounds would be: chemicals specialty chemicals plating chemicals or catalyst manufacturing
- Must have prior optimization capital project experience and process improvement experience
- A big plus would be six-sigma certification; any experience with LEAN manufacturing techniques would also be a big plus
- Personality-wise they are looking for someone who is hands-on; much of this job will be spent out in the plant and interfacing with operators and other plant personnel. This person must have an out-going personality and be an effective communicator
