Manager Category Capex Indirects & Services Asia
Goal
The Manager Category Capex Indirects & Services Asia is responsible for the strategic procurement of assigned indirect categories aiming to ensure cost optimization supplier performance and alignment with business requirements. Through targeted strategy development and execution this position significantly contributes to operational efficiency and the enhancement of corporate value.
Responsibilities
Main task
- Conducting tenders for goods and services
- Clarifying and analyzing demand and requirements
- Negotiating prices and contracts with suppliers
- Developing and executing category
- Driving of cost reduction initiatives
- Establishing a strategic supplier panel
- Sharing best practice with tactical plant buyers and internal stake holders
- Organizing business review meetings with strategic suppliers
Accountabilities
- Ensuring competitive prices and favorable conditions
- Drafting managing and adhering to contracts
- Achieving KPI targets particularly in cost management and the performance of assigned categories
- Building and maintaining the strategic supplier panel
Collaboration Areas / Interfaces
- Close collaboration with tactical plant buyers internal stakeholders to align corporate and procurement objectives
- Active communication and negotiation with suppliers to ensure optimal outcomes
Profile
- Bachelors degree in business administration Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Proven track record of over 5 years in the procurement and supply chain sector with a strong emphasis on strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adept at fostering collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers to support organizational goals and long-term partnerships.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive cost-saving initiatives achieving measurable improvements in efficiency and profitability.
- Ability to analyze market data and trends to optimize strategies
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing complex contract negotiations
- Project management skills to support procurement initiatives
- Knowledge of ERP systems and digital procurement tools
