This is a laboratory-based position within the Analytical Research and Development Characterization and Analytical Sciences Department. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with analytical methods and data analysis. Primary responsibilities will include generation and interpretation of characterization data for monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and Antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) in support of research clinical and commercial programs.
Your strong foundation in general scientific practice principles and concepts will help in meeting critical deadlines. You will be relied on as a technical contributor to assess the assigned tasks and make decisions that involve direct application of your knowledge.
What You Will Achieve
- Conduct characterization experiments generating high quality data for program teams and regulatory filings.
- Perform sample testing for process development formulation development stability studies.
- Document experiments analyze data and provide conclusions obtained from experiments using electronic laboratory notebooks
- Contribute to authoring technical documents including development reports analytical test methods and method qualification reports.
- Read scientific and technical literature to stay current in the field and to bring novel or improved technologies to the laboratory. Provide daily laboratory operations support.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- BS or BA degree in biology or related discipline with 0- 2 years relevant experience.
- Excellent analytical mindset and skills. Hands-on experience with protein sample prep chromatographic (e.g. SEC RP HIC) and electrophoretic (e.g. CE-SDS icIEF) techniques and other analytical methods
- With guidance conduct and interpret characterization experiments generating high quality data for program teams and regulatory filings
- A proven problem-solver and team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong data and time organization/management skills with attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with personal computers including word processing spreadsheets PowerPoint and relevant scientific software is required.
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):
- Experience working in areas of therapeutic protein/mAb/ADC characterization in either academia or the biotechnology /pharmaceutical industry is preferred
- Experience with documentation using electronic laboratory notebooks.
