Job Description

The Role

Our Financial Markets team are looking for an experienced lawyer to join their national team.

Our Financial Markets team led by Catriona Grover and David Ireland (rated Band 1 for financial services by Chambers and Partners) is one of the leading providers of legal services to the financial markets sector. The teams expertise covers all aspects of funds management law (including KiwiSaver) insurance FinTech financial adviser law and all financial services regulation. Our clients range from some of New Zealands largest banks insurers and fund managers to niche providers and start-ups.

This is the perfect next step for the right person with at least 7 years of experience to join a top tier-firm in a senior role where you will become a leader within our Financial Markets team. You will have the natural ability to work collaboratively in a high performing team and have big aspirations to build a career as a recognised expert in the financial markets practice area. You want to be part of a team of lawyers who take their work seriously but enjoy what they do and enjoy building relationships with their clients. You understand the importance of mentoring and want to play an integral part in the development of our fantastic junior lawyers.
