Job Description
Are you passionate about creating cutting-edge designs Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where innovation meets excellence Garrett is looking for a talented Design Engineer to join our Gearbox team and drive the creation of 3D models and 2D drawings for our industry-unique E-Powertrain.
You will be:
- Designing components assemblies and subassemblies in line with Garretts high standards.
- Ensuring the fit and function of all components and assemblies.
- Leading the design and implementation of mechanical parts subassemblies and product improvements.
- Developing components that are integral to complex systems.
- Applying your mechanical engineering expertise to a mix of product development and improvement projects.
Supporting diverse projects across various markets with your engineering capabilities.
What Were Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (minimum requirement).
- 23 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer.
- Hands-on experience with gearbox development or casted components.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as CATIA Inventor Pro/ENGINEER or SolidWorks.
- Strong command of English both written and spoken.
- Experience in a highly regulated or safety-critical industry is a plus.
