Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Launch Engineer(SW) located in Suzhou.

Reporting to the BD Director the Launch Engineer role involves

What a typical day looks like:

• Take a lead responsibility of MCi Active Aero Actuators(AGS CPD) application engineering.
• Regular customer visit without sales team for launching MCi projects.
• Technical interface during project acquisition and development coordination
• Get customer 3D data and check with MCI products to propose appropriate solutions if necessary.
• Make sure the technical definitions (LDFLin Description File SWRSSoftware Requirement Specification) and other specifications be clarified and key technical concerns be tackled through Checklist.
• Communicate with internal relevant departments to have all necessary resources/requirements (feasibility study capacity preparation key milestones respected) for initial new projects.
• Arrange monthly launch project kickoff meeting regularly to convey the key projects launch status to whole organization and follow up the key projects launch readiness signing off during launch project meeting.
• Serve as the development coordinator with the global team during the project implementation period.
• Discuss / communicate technical status / issues with global team during project implementation.
• Take a lead responsibility of problem tackling during the project launch phase till SOP.
• Support KAM in obtaining market intelligence and collecting competitor information.
• Promote MCi new products and support KAM for early project technical solutions

The experience were looking to add to our team:

• Solid professional English language skills
• Good understanding of plastics metals material science & design and mass manufacturing.
• 5 plus years experience in application product development or similar roles of which 3 years in automotive.
• Direct working experience on actuator products will be a plus.
• Experience with 3D CAD Software (CREO Pro Mechanical).
• Good Customer interface skills solid negotiation skills.
• Experience working in a customer environment (and without sales supervision).
• Good technical communication skills.
