Mechanical Modeler will be responsible for creating updating and maintaining 3D BIM models for wet utility systems including potable water networks firefighting networks stormwater drainage irrigation and sewer systems for infrastructure projects. The role involves close collaboration with design engineers BIM coordinators and other discipline modelers to ensure accurate clash-free and constructible designs aligned with project and BIM standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with BIM execution plans project specifications and international/local utility standards.
Support engineers in design modifications and update BIM models accordingly.
Maintain proper documentation of models revisions and updates for project records.
Provide technical support during construction stages by producing clear model-based outputs.
Key Qualifications;
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
3-7 years of experience in BIM modeling for wet utilities within infrastructure projects.
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit AutoCAD Navisworks
Good knowledge of wet utility design standards (ASHRAE NFPA local municipality codes and Middle East standards).
Strong understanding of hydraulic networks pumping stations and associated mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings utility layouts and technical specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
Previous experience on Saudi Arabian or GCC infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with BIM Level 2 and ISO 19650 standards.
Certification in BIM/Revit modeling will be an added advantage.
