We are hiring for our client a leading Low Voltage Switchgear manufacturer based in Dublin. With over 50 years of industry expertise our client is known for high-quality reliable switchgear systems and a personalised service that sets them apart in the market. As part of continued growth they are seeking to appoint an experienced Electrical Design Engineerto play a central role in the design and development of innovative electrical systems.

The Role:
Lead the electrical design of low voltage switchgear systems to industry and client standards
Develop detailed electrical schematics and layout drawings using EPLAN
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between electrical mechanical and project objectives
Provide input into component selection system integration and overall functional design
Mentor junior engineers contribute to technical reviews and uphold design best practices
Ensure project milestones are achieved and technical documentation is kept up to date
Proactively troubleshoot and resolve design challenges across the development cycle
The Person:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Minimum 5 years experience designing low voltage switchgear systems
Proficient in EPLAN and related design tools
Thorough understanding of relevant industry standards and best practices
Detail-focused with strong problem-solving and communication skills
Experience collaborating cross-functionally in a dynamic project environment
