PSCI-LIA a fast-growing 8(a) SDVOSB and woman-owned small business is seeking an experienced Security and Compliance Project Manager to work directly with one of our clients team in Columbia SC to ensure the successful completion and ongoing maturation of security and compliance-related projects.. Responsibilities:
- Interacted with staff other team members all levels of management and external organizations including vendors performing outsourced work to compile and manage information for project plans portfolio/program plans metrics reports and documentation.
- Defined project objectives and scope by reviewing project proposals to determine time frames available funding procedures and various phases of the project life cycle for security and compliance projects.
- Established and implemented project management processes and methodologies for the IT Security and Compliance community to ensure projects were delivered on time within budget adhered to quality standards and met customer expectations.
- Worked with technical staff and business stakeholders to create deliverables and artifacts suitable for audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Determined and evaluated risks that could affect projects and implemented appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Served as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and/or Point of Contact (POC) for developing and managing processes related to a robust System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Made recommendations on improvements in efficiency effectiveness report templates/structures and productivity to OCS leadership.
- Assisted (and often led) in the design development implementation and maturation of OCSs security and compliance processes technology and artifacts.
- Prepared status reports and provided updates to stakeholders; reviewed progress identified tasks and ensured milestones and deliverables were met according to deadlines.
- Participated in assessments of internal agency systems as well as business partner/service provider information systems.
- Utilized Microsoft Office Suite MS Project eGRC system Bizagi Atlassian and related tools to document and report on OCS efforts.
- Actively participated in meetings and workshops regarding security and compliance projects.
- Program Experience: Extensive experience with Medicaid Social Services and public benefit programs demonstrating success in delivering security and compliance projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong background in Health Information Technologies Security & Compliance frameworks and Project Management software (e.g. MS Project).
Required Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and/or 5 years of related work experience
PMP Certification security certifications preferred.
Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience with proven delivery of cross-functional initiatives.
At least 1 year of experience in Information Security Compliance or Risk Management.
Strong ability to plan guide organize and coordinate work assignments across teams and employees.
Skilled in preparing and presenting reports to stakeholders and leadership.
Ability to prioritize work activities effectively in alignment with organizational goals and situational demands.
Excellent planning communication and deadline management skills to ensure successful project execution.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in healthcare environments with knowledge of healthcare-related regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks including HIPAA MARS-E ARC-AMPE NIST and FERPA.
Prior experience with Microsoft products and eGRC tools such as RSA Archer.
