Were looking for a Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care team in Avon Coloradoa town where hiking biking skiing fishing and living your best mountain life are part of the daily routine.
What Youll Do
As a Medical Assistant youll be the heartbeat of our care team supporting providers and patients from newborns to seniors. Youll work independently compassionately and professionally to deliver top-tier care in a setting that feels more like a mountain retreat than a clinic.
Your Impact Includes:
- Taking vitals and documenting patient history
- Assisting with exams and minor procedures
- Performing venipunctures injections and IV therapy
- Monitoring patient conditions and communicating updates
- Managing patient communications and flow
- Keeping exam rooms stocked clean and ready
- Upholding HIPAA OSHA and Vail Healths values
What You Bring
- 2 years of clinical or administrative healthcare experience preferred
- Skilled in venipuncture injections and IV therapy
- Certified as a Medical Assistant EMT LPN RN or similar
- BLS certification required
- Tech-savvy with EHR systems and basic computer skills
