Job Description
Infosys is seeking a skilled dedicated and proactive Oracle Database Administrator with strong interpersonal and technical skills. He/she will also assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration maintenance security best practices create SOPs and other documentation anticipate problems and suggest solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Melbourne FL or Rochester NY or Clifton NJ or Greenville TX or Salt Lake City UT or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
At least 2 years of experinece on Oracle DBA.
Should be an expert in RAC ASM RMAN Oracle standby maintenance and Dataguard configurations.
Should be an expert in Patching Upgradation and Migration activities.
Should have prior experience on background in building large database infrastructures supporting high volumes of transactions in a mission-critical environment.
Expertise in optimizing and performance tuning of databases including drill-down analysis.
Hands-on Experience in backup and recovery techniques.
Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced tight deadline delivery timeline.
Adhere to Work Instructions and SOPs.
In order to comply with legal requirements this role is limited to U.S. persons as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents and certain refugees and asylees.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business technical teams and higher management
Good in communication and in Client Interaction.
Excellent Communications and client interaction skills along with exceptional written and verbal skills as well as technical documentation.
Planning Coordination and Analytical skills.
Hands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in the below locations will be
Rochester NY: $<64162> to $<83411>
Clifton NJ : $<66354> to $<94502>
