About the Role

Joining our Flat Roof Windows team in Global Product Management located at our head office in Hrsholm you will be part of a skilled team of 6 colleagues in a core function in VELUX. The role operates in a dynamic and global environment where the unexpected is part of the game.

Our focus is to develop content that can inspire consumers and professionals in the building industry as well as train inform and inspire our customer facing colleagues to learn about flat roof window products and solutions.

In this role you will support various projects and initiatives collaborate with different departments and help communicate our product offerings to a global audience.

Within the team you will be met by an open motivated and supportive atmosphere where personal and professional development is highly prioritized and you will work closely with the commercial product manager.

The student position is a communications role which among other things is highly focused on content planning and this role you will have the opportunity to be part of the direction setting of our content and drive the creation of content that will be used for internal and external communication.

More specifically you will:

• Contribute to product launch activities e.g. creating launch materials and communicating value propositions through written and visual communication

• Assist in project management tasks and support the product management team

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure obtaining relevant product knowledge

• Help creating and distributing product-related content

• Help developing training material

We expect you to work 15-20 hours per week with 1-2 days of physical presence at our HQ in Hrsholm.

About you

We are looking for a candidate that will bring motivation and interest to the job and a willingness to learn. You can cooperate as well as see possibilities and act on them. You have a curious mindset and can work efficiently with a wide set of tasks and with your creative thinking you are keen to bring your input and suggestions on how to tackle a task.

As our new Student Assistant we expect you to have a solid interest in communication (especially visual communication) and product management and ideally you bring prior experience within the field. Moreover it is important that you are comfortable with frequent interactions with and reaching out to internal stakeholders.

Furthermore we expect you:

• Are enrolled in a study programme in Denmark within communication marketing business administration or similarly relevant topic and you are just about to finish your bachelors degree or have just started your masters degree

• Have a great interest and some experience in writing and content creation and relevant tools e.g. canva and video/photo editing tools

• Have a comprehensive understanding of social media and digital channels

• Are motivated to ensure strong visual presentation of communication material

• Can balance attention to detail with creativity and a willingness to try

• Are able to manage and organize your own responsibilities while also collaborating effectively with others

• Are fluent in written and spoken English
