WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As an Office Specialist 2 your primary purpose will be to provide ongoing secretarial technical or minor administrative related tasks in support of WorkSource Oregon Centers. This position will serve in person at the Corvallis WorkSource Oregon this role you will:
Provide front desk reception; directing customers responding to customer inquiries.
Provide support to the Employment Service units maintaining and updating records and files of work performed creating lists to monitor other activities.
Key Employment Services related data answering phones as needed and routing calls to staff.
Maintains and organizes office equipment inventory and distributes supplies.
Authorize review reconcile and resolve monthly Small Purchase Order Transaction System (SPOTS) credit card purchases.
Perform financial transactions and other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Required Minimum Qualifications-
Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding word processing or other experience generating documents;
OR
An associate degree in any field;
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualification: Experience working in an Office Specialist role supporting Oregon Employment Department customers or related experience.

The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERSqualifying the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%. Please review the Classification and Compensation page for more details.

WORK LOCATION INFORMATION:
This position will report to the WorkSource Oregon Center office in Corvallis and is not suitable for remote or hybrid remote work.
