This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a growing independent accountancy practice with a reputation for quality and innovation. As Audit Manager you ll be the go-to person for clients leading audits across a variety of industries and helping businesses achieve their goals. You ll also play a key role in mentoring your team shaping department growth and spotting opportunities to add value.

Act as the main contact for a diverse client portfolio
Lead audit engagements ensuring compliance and high standards
Support business development by attending meetings and winning new work
Mentor and appraise trainees and junior staff guiding their career growth
Plan audit assignments and oversee staff scheduling
Work closely with Directors and other managers to improve processes and spot cross-selling opportunities
Stay up to date with best practice and technical developments sharing knowledge with the team
ACA / ACCA qualified with at least 5 years post-qualified experience
Strong background in audit within practice
Experience with FRS102 OMBs groups FCA clients IFRS or charities is a plus
Excellent communicator with strong leadership skills
Someone who enjoys building client relationships and developing people
