About Us:

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our storm restoration team. The Carpenter will be responsible for performing structural repairs rebuilding and finishing work on residential and/or commercial properties damaged by storms. This role requires strong technical skills attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural and finish carpentry work including framing trim doors windows siding and cabinetry as needed.
- Assess storm-damaged structures and determine the best repair or rebuilding approach.
- Read and interpret blueprints drawings and project specifications.
- Safely operate hand tools power tools and carpentry equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers insurance adjusters and other trades (roofers electricians etc.) to complete restoration projects.
- Ensure work complies with building codes safety standards and company quality guidelines.
- Remove damaged materials and assist in demolition when required.
- Maintain a safe clean and organized job site.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and answer questions about the restoration process.
Qualifications:
- Proven carpentry experience preferably in construction restoration or remodeling.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry methods tools and building codes.
- Ability to perform both rough and finish carpentry.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs) and work in varying weather conditions.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to unexpected challenges on job sites.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver s license.
- Preferred Experience in storm restoration insurance work or emergency response construction.
