Our self-developed and AI-powered SaaS automation platform the Digital Compliance Office supports Startups and SMEs with compliance challenges such as data protection information security or anti-money laundering.

Tasks

Your creative field

We are looking for a full-time permanent Frontend Developer (all genders) to join our growing team remotely in Portugal.

Own the DCO frontend and transform it into a modern intuitive streamlined platform.

As the dedicated frontend owner and senior Individual Contributor (IC) youll spend roughly 80% coding and 20% technical leadership (architecture reviews tooling). Youll work hand-in-hand with our designer to bring DCO 3.0 to life building a cleaner faster UX while evaluating and integrating modern frameworks and AI-powered tools to raise delivery speed and code quality. You are accountable for end-to-end delivery (scope build test release) collaborating directly with backend and design and ensuring work is production-ready without hand-offs or throwing it over the wall.

Key outcomes within the first year:

You will..

  • Get up to speed on our Vue 3/TypeScript codebase and start shipping features early on.
  • Build and maintain a solid frontend pipeline with best practices in testing code quality and telemetry.
  • Shape and document core frontend standards to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Co-drive the DCO 3.0 redesign with product & design; implement new components and workflows.
  • Propose and integrate modern tooling/practices (e.g. Vite optimizations Pinia patterns DX and AI-assisted workflows) that increase velocity and code quality.
  • Serve as the frontend technical authority: lead decisions on routing state data-fetching error handling feature flags i18n and accessibility; keep architecture docs current and debt low.

Requirements

Your profile

You have solid professional experience building complex data-driven single-page applications (SPAs) with modern JavaScript frameworks especially and TypeScript.

  • You are proficient in HTML5 CSS3 and utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
  • You have a strong understanding of how to interact with RESTful APIs and have experience with libraries like Axios.
  • You are a proactive tech-curious team player who leverages modern tools (including AI) and collaborates closely with designers to deliver great user experiences
  • Experience with state management agile methods or B2B SaaS is a strong plus.
  • You are a strong communicator fluent in English and thrive in a collaborative cross-functional team environment.
