Job Description

Position Summary:
Were looking for a detail-oriented Tool Maker to support our cold heading production. This role is hands-on and critical to keeping our machines running with precision. Youll operate Hardinge lathes EDM and surface grinders to manufacture modify and maintain cold heading tooling.

What Youll Do:

  • Inspect repair and replace worn or broken tooling to keep production lines operating smoothly.
  • Build and assemble setup kits for new production jobs.
  • Work closely with machine operators engineers and maintenance teams to resolve tooling issues quickly and accurately.
  • Perform OD and ID work with tight tolerances (down to the thousandths).
  • Read and interpret blueprints micrometers calipers indicators and comparators.

What Youll Need:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of toolmaking experience in cold heading or related manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles and blueprint reading.
  • Comfortable using measurement tools and working to tight tolerances.
  • Basic computer skills to log and track tooling data.
