KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Performance & Revenue Leadership
Lead the showroom to achieve and exceed a minimum annual sales target of $5 million for year one with accountability for team and individual performance
Coach sales associates on conversion average ticket size and solution-based selling to drive profitable growth
Monitor KPIs and implement tactical adjustments to drive performance
Customer Experience & Operational Standards
Ensure the showroom maintains exceptional cleanliness merchandising and presentation
Resolve customer service issues directly and promptly partnering with the Service department as needed to drive satisfaction and minimize escalations
Uphold brand standards in showroom appearance signage accuracy and promotional execution
Team Leadership & People Management
Manage all showroom personnel including sales team and support staff; provide clear direction regular coaching and performance feedback
Coordinate scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage especially during weekends and peak traffic periods
Collaborate closely with HR for hiring training performance issues and culture alignment
Cross-Functional Department Management
Service - manage the service team for response times issue resolution quality and overall customer satisfaction
Delivery manage the delivery scheduling timeliness and customer communication
Human Resources - Ensure compliance with labor laws company policies and employee development initiatives. Support team discipline and development
Purchasing manage purchasing to support both business and vendor needs
Strategic & Financial Reporting
Execute company strategy within the store and report key performance indicators
Participate in leadership meetings and contribute insights related to sales trends customer behavior staffing and operational risks
Support budget adherence and margin protection by aligning sales practices with goals
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Business retail mgmt or a related field (preferred)
5 years of retail mgmt experience preferably in furniture or home goods industry
Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team
Strong understanding of sales customer service and inventory management
Strong judgement high standards and customer-first mindset
Proficient in retail management software basic financial reporting and inventory tools
