Principal Project Analyst
Type: 5 months contract
Frisco TX (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
As a Project Analyst you will:
Drive successful delivery of several moderate complex to complex projects and identify and deliver project benefits.
Manage all aspects of a given project from requirements gathering to implementation.
Plan and facilitate project work efforts to deliver on time in budget and within scope in accordance with business priorities.
Define project scope goals and deliverables in alignment with Technology goals and business priorities.
Create and execute project plans and identify & coordinate resource needs.
Evaluate and manage trade-offs between project size and complexity cost urgency risk and stakeholder value.
Lead cross-functional meetings and foster teamwork driving escalation and resolution of issues.
Partner with stakeholders to define success metrics and ensuring effective high quality project outcomes that produce value.
Track project status and manage project team complexities to mitigate issues & risks.
Ensure projects adhere to Technology project methodology compliance standards.
Who you are:
Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (for example that of the PMI PRINCE2 and agile approaches) and PLC stages.
Deep knowledge of systems development life cycle concepts and methodologies.
Deep knowledge of project planning/scheduling tools (for example Microsoft Project and Open Workbench).
Deep knowledge of emerging tools and technologies in information technology and their applications to business processes.
Deep knowledge of methods and practices for defining project strategy and plan driving continuous improvement and defining and operationalizing project roadmaps.
Deep understanding of contract types contract procurement and administration processes and building proposals.
Deep understanding of the principles and methods to identify analyze specify design and manage functional and infrastructure requirements.
Leading skills in release and deployment management risk management resource management and performance management.
Leading skills in progress tracking and reporting.
Developing ability to make sound well-informed and objective decisions; perceives the impact and implications of decisions.
Proven ability to train coach and mentor the team.
Proven ability to build team spirit to sustain cooperative working relationships.
Proven ability to continuously improve by learning new tools and techniques and finding new ways to accomplish work activities and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors degree in related field (e.g. Information Technology Computer Science Business Administration etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Typically 5 years experience including at least 3 years managing projects.
Strong experience with project management tools software delivery and an understanding of technology concepts.
