The Social Worker will be a part of the School Response Team (SRT) alongside a Program Coordinator and Parent Advocate. The Social Worker will provide mental health assessments diagnosis short term counselling crisis intervention and workshops to parents and school staff. The SRT is in 5 schools within Manhattan ranging from Elementary Schools to High Schools.Requirements:
Licensure (LMSW LCSW MSW with limited permit) required
Bilingual Spanish/English is required
Experience doing crisis/ER work or clinical background preferred
Be a team player who is comfortable managing stressful situations and using more directive family interventions when necessary
