Responsibilities
- Provideguidancesupportreviewandconstructivechallengeasrequiredfortheprocessofidentificationassessmentanddocumentationofoperationalrisksacrosskeybusinessareasincludingpaymentscustomerservicetechnologyandcompliance.
- Analyseinternalprocessestodetectpotentialweaknessesorvulnerabilitiesanddriveimprovementsofareasidentified.
- Conductscenarioanalysisandstresstestingtoevaluatetheorganisationspreparednessforoperationaldisruptionsandcapitalassessment
- Prepareanddeliverdetailedriskreportsonanregularandad-hocbasisforseniorleadershipriskcommitteesandregulatorybodieshighlightingrisktrendscontroleffectivenessandareasrequiringattention.
- Maintaintheriskregisterensuringitiscomprehensiveup-to-dateandalignedwiththeorganisationsriskframework.
- Supportregularreviewsoftheoperationalriskmanagementframeworkensuringalignmentwithindustrybestpracticesandregulatoryrequirements.
- Supporttheimplementationandmaintenanceofthegovernanceframeworktoensurecompliancewithregulatorystandardsandinternalpolicies.
Requirements
- Minimum3-5yearsexperienceina1st/2ndlineroleinfinancialserviceswithafocusonOperationalRisk.
- Strongrelationshipbuildingskills.
- Strongwrittenandverbalskills&confidenceandexperienceofMicrosoftOfficetools.
- UnderstandingofRiskManagementassessmentmethodologiesandframeworks.
- KnowledgeorexperienceofOperationalRiskcapitalrequirementcalculationsormodelling.
- Excellentcommunicationandpresentationskills.
- ExcellentstakeholdermanagementskillsabilitytoliaiseacrossriskcomplianceandITteams.
