The Role: Associate Technical Consultant (ABAP) We are seeking a talented and driven Associate Technical Consultant (ABAP) to join our client partners dynamic IT team. This role is perfect for an ABAP developer eager to work with SAP S/4HANA and make a tangible impact on enterprise-level systems. You will be instrumental in developing high-quality efficient and maintainable ABAP code optimizing solutions for HANA and leading the charge in integrating critical systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to significant digital transformation projects within a collaborative and agile environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Write efficient and maintainable ABAP code that strictly adheres to SAP best practices and standards.
- Leverage SAP HANA database capabilities to develop highly optimized and performant solutions.
- Develop and consume OData services using the modern RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
- Execute custom code migration from legacy SAP ERP systems to SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Troubleshoot and effectively resolve complex issues within ABAP code and integrated SAP systems.
- Integrate SAP S/4HANA with a variety of both SAP and non-SAP external systems.
- Actively contribute to Agile development processes across the entire software development lifecycle.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development specifically on S/4HANA.
- A solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and core business processes.
- Strong programming skills in ABAP including proficiency in ABAP on HANA and the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
- Demonstrated experience in at least one full SAP S/4HANA implementation or conversion project.
- Effective communication skills capable of articulating technical concepts clearly to various stakeholders.
