Job Description

Computer Science or Engineering Degree/Diploma or Equivalent Experience 5 years experience as a ETL Developer using ETL tools 5 years experience working with relational database * 3 exposure to any BI tools Power BI microstaratergy 3 years experience working with high volume data ingestion Exposure to fourth generation programing language such as python Capable of working as an individual contributor and as part of an agile team member Motivated individual to drive ETL best practices Required skills ETL Tools IBM DataStage an asset Good knowledge of relational database Knowledge of public cloud Knowledge of BI tools Knowldege of 4gl programing languages In addition to the above know of Microstrategy and Power BI is also an asset. Exposure to Agile development methodology an asset Translating requirements into high level design for transformation Development of ETL pipelines based on the design Develop stored procedures if required to support the ETL pipeline Develop highly optimized queries to ingest data into relational database Develop external code using 4GL programming language Work within an Agile sprint team ETL data stage developer
