Job Description

Job Type: Full Time/Remote

Job Summary:

An Information Security Analyst is responsible for protecting an organizations digital assets ensuring data security and mitigating cyber threats.

Job Description

Plan and implement security measures to protect computer systems networks and data.

Monitor for security breaches and investigate incidents.

Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.

Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection laws.

Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures.

Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.

Key Skills

Cybersecurity Frameworks: Knowledge of NIST ISO 27001 and CIS controls.

Threat Detection: Experience with SIEM tools firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

Risk Management: Ability to assess and mitigate security risks.

Encryption & Authentication: Understanding of cryptographic protocols.

Incident Response: Expertise in handling security breaches and forensic analysis.

Communication & Leadership: Ability to train teams and enforce security policies.

Education Requirements

A bachelors degree in cybersecurity computer science or information technology is typically required.

Certifications like Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) can enhance career prospects.
