Job Description
CK Group are recruiting for a Food Science Technician to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis for initially 6 months (temp-to-perm a possibility).
Salary: 16.67 per hour PAYE
Food Science Technician role:

Salary: 16.67 per hour PAYE
Food Science Technician role:
- Carrying out practical work to support project managers to help develop new products and solve any challenges associated with formulating, application of ingredients and development of novel food processing techniques.
- Ensure effective organisation of assigned workload, provide high quality product samples, and timely/accurate provision of results.
- Provide training in routine lab activities and housekeeping duties.
- Be competent in the operation of all kitchen equipment.
- Working in accordance with the quality standards and health and safety requirements of the development kitchen.
- Educated to Degree / HNC level in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent relevant experience in a laboratory.
- Good understanding of basic lab equipment.
- Some practical experience in a development kitchen would be a bonus.
- Computer literate in standard MS office applications
- Accountable, honest, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
