Job Description
Job Title: Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Join our expert behavioral health team at a leading facility in Dayton Ohio dedicated to making a lasting impact on the lives of children and adolescents. We are seeking a part-time Child Psychiatrist (MD/DO) who is passionate about providing high-quality psychiatric services. This is an exciting opportunity within a mission-driven organization that emphasizes teamwork and a commitment to exceptional care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for children and adolescents.
- Collaborate as a Physician for Advanced Practice Providers (NPs/PAs) in child and adolescent programs.
- Offer supervision and guidance to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and professional standards.
- Cultivate treatment plans by working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide consultation to clinical staff on diagnosis treatment and complex clinical issues.
- Participate in case reviews and team meetings to promote integrated care.
- Note: This is an in-person position; telemedicine is not an option.
- Locums and visa candidates will not be accepted.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry REQUIRED
- Ohio MD/DO License REQUIRED
- DEA License REQUIRED
- Willingness to travel to both Columbus and Washington Court House locations REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice/license history HIGHLY PREFERRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Active Ohio MD/DO License
- Current DEA License
