What You Will Get To Do:
- Design develop and build data lakes data warehouses data infrastructure data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and data models
- Automate the ingestion delivery processing and quality of structured and unstructured data
- Support and maintain system infrastructure IAM policies and adhere to corporate security standards
- Support and maintain system network
- Bring your expertise in Amazon Web Services cloud solutions architecture related technologies and their interdependencies
- Research analyze recommend and select technical approaches for solving difficult and meaningful development and integration problems
- Learn and embrace new tools and techniques to increase performance automation and scalability
- Understand business goals and drivers and translate those into an appropriate technical solution
What You Will Bring:
- You bring 2-5 years of data engineering and/or data warehousing experience
- You have 2-5 years of experience building AWS cloud data solutions
- Proficient in designing and deploying data pipelines for ingest and transformation
- You have strong communication skills and can translate technology to business and vice versa
- Youre a strong analytical problem-solver
- Youre a self-starter who has the ability to work independently or as part of a project team
- Proficient in minimum 5 of the following:
- Relevant ETL/ELT tool for data & analytics platforms (e.g. DBT)
- Data modeling and storage practices for data lakes big data applications data warehouses data marts and OLAP services
- Agile development methodologies including DevOps and DataOps concepts
- Relevant programming language for cloud platforms (e.g. Python and YAML)
- SQL for data profiling and transformation
- Version control platforms like Git
- IaaC (e.g. CloudFormation)
- Networking (VPC infrastructure and configuration: Subnets Security Groups Route Tables)
- AWS services supporting data architecture: Lambda RDS Step Functions EventBridge ECS
