Job Description
Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join one of our long-term clients team at (1) of their properties in Gallatin TN (37066). The ideal candidate will 1-2 years in residential maintenance multi-family is required have general maintenance knowledge be self-motivated be able to organize multiple tasks throughout the day and is self-sufficient. This role is contract to hire (90-120 days before conversion).
Salary: $24.50/hour DOQ. This role is contract to hire (90-120 days before conversion).
Schedule: Monday Friday 830am 530pm. Minimal on-call requirements after conversion.
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Provide a variety of skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks windows floors and other parts of the building.
- Maintains the grounds assigned which may include trash pick-up shoveling and sweeping curb/dumpster area maintaining landscape beds and other areas.
- Preparation of vacant units for occupancy which may include cleaning responsibilities.
- Installation and repair of major and minor appliances (e.g. washer dryer refrigerator stove microwave dishwashers etc.).
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues diagnose problems replace and/or repair parts test and make necessary adjustments to ensure issues are resolved.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 1-2 years experience in maintenance in residential communities - work orders and preventative maintenance.
- Have a valid drivers license and valid auto insurance.
- Be able to pass a Motor vehicle report.
- Be able to pass a background check before employment.
