Locum OB/GYN Position in Flint MI
Join a dedicated team at a Level III Trauma hospital in Flint Michigan. Our facility the McLaren Flint Hospital is seeking a qualified OB/GYN physician to provide 24-hour call coverage. This ongoing opportunity allows you to focus on patient care with an average of 5 patients per day supported by a skilled hospital staff. Experience a dynamic work environment equipped with CERBER technology and a Level I nursery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour call coverage for obstetric and gynecological patients.
- Monitor and manage patient care ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with hospital staff and utilize available resources for patient management.
- Document patient information and manage records using electronic health systems.
- Participate in hospital team meetings and contribute to departmental protocols.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified OB/GYN (No Board Eligible candidates accepted).
- Michigan medical license and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) required at time of submission.
- BLS certification required.
- Must have a clean background for prompt credentialing.
- Local providers preferred; no exceptions permitted.
- Ability to provide availability and submit rates at the time of application.
- DEA verbal confirmation required upon name clear.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current Michigan medical license.
- BLS certification.
- Immunization documentation: Hep B MMR Varicella TDAP within required time frames.
- Covid vaccination documentation or declination if not received.
- TB screening required within specified time period.
