Job Description
Job Title: Locum Physician - Gastroenterology
Summary

This locum position offers an opportunity to provide general gastroenterology coverage within an inpatient setting from April to November. Job Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient general gastroenterology coverage.
- Conduct consultations and procedural privileges as needed.
- Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in on-call duties as scheduled.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation in the EMR system (EPIC).
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology (REQUIRED).
- Completion of a GI Fellowship (REQUIRED).
- Iowa medical license or IMLC (must be in hand) (REQUIRED).
- Availability during specified locum dates (REQUIRED).
License and Certification Requirements
- Iowa medical license or IMLC.
- Current Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
- Addition of relevant certifications such as DEA BLS ACLS preferred.
