PROJECT MANAGER SAP
About the Role:
The primary role of the SAP Project Manager is to work closely with stakeholders to drive the successful delivery of IT projects particularly around Data and Process Management.
The Project Manager will manage the project scope plan implementations and ensure delivery within scope and budget.
You will be part of the Project Delivery Service and report to a Team Lead. Project Delivery Services covers a broad range of IT projects: from infrastructure and lifecycle management to applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project delivery from initiation to closure
Define project scope goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents
Draft and manage budget proposals and changes as per defined processes
Ensure deliverables are met on time within scope and budget and to quality standards
Communicate effectively with team leads and stakeholders
Ensure scope and deliverables are clearly defined and agreed upon
Liaise regularly with internal IT teams and business stakeholders
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues reporting to team leads and stakeholders
Act as a key member of the Project Delivery Services team
Profile
15 years of relevant experience in project management particularly in SAP
Strong understanding of SAP and its complexity
Familiarity with SAP process flows
Experience with data cleansing projects is a plus
Experience in tools such as Jira ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and ServiceNow
Public sector project experience is an asset
Strong work ethic and time management skills
Ability to handle ambiguous or under-defined issues
Knowledge of Agile and SAFe methodologies is a plus
ITIL Certification required; project methodology certification (e.g. PM) also required
Ability to lead meetings steerco sessions and manage project teams
Strong communication and documentation skills across various audiences
Proficient in Dutch or French and English
Other Requirements
Must have legal authorization to work in Belgium
Able to work in a hybrid mode (remote and on-site)
