Job Description
POSITIONSUMMARY:
The TennisProfessional position supports the work of the YMCA of Collier County Inc. aleading not-for-profit organization committed to strengthening the communitiesin Collier County through its core focus areas of Youth Development HealthyLiving and Social Responsibility. TheTennis Professional teaches lessons promotes and assists in the implementationof the tennis programs round robins and tournaments for all ages and levelsand assists the Tennis Coordinator with other assigned tasks.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:
Instructs tennis at varying levels and ages in a progressive andeducational manner.
Schedules private and group lessons while executing the policiesrules and regulations of the facility.
Contributes to the creation of new concepts for various tennisevents and orchestrates the communication promotion and execution of theseevents.
Provides training and supervision to tennis maintenance staff oncourt maintenance procedures in order to ensure follow-through to establishedstandards.
Encourages member participation in tennis programs.
Expected to attend seminars and workshops for continuedprofessional development and certification.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekendsholidays and split shifts.
Assists the Tennis Coordinator in additional program areas asneeded.
