TheJohn F. Kennedy Elementary Schoolis seeking an exceptional and dynamic candidate to serve as aFull-YearPermanent Building Substitutefor the upcoming school year beginning on August 27 2025. The Full-Year Permanent Building Substitutewill join a vibrant and supportive team that places a high priority on collaboration creativity flexibility and commitment to the goals of the District and to our students families and staff.

JOB SUMMARY
To provide instructional and supervisory support to students. TheFull-Year Permanent Building Substituteis a full-time full-year position whose main purpose is to fill in for educational or instructional positions with the school as needed by the building administration. This position isan integralpart of the successful day-to-dayoperations of building and supporting the entire school community.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fill in as a classroom teacher educational assistant or support personnelwith the school buildingas assigned by the building principal
- Support the school staff and students
- Be a positive and collaborative member of the school community
- Flexibility and patience are key to success in this role
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School degreerequired Bachelors preferred
- Teaching degree preferred
- Recent experience working with school-age children
- Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
- Other requirements as deemed necessary by the Superintendent of Schools
REPORTS TO: BuildingPrincipal/Assistant Principal
SUPERVISES: Not Applicable
WORK YEAR:180 days
COMPENSATION:$165 per day plus 5 paid days off
