The Opportunity:

You willjoin the After the Single Use project to develop and implement consistent procedures for effective data management providing practical support to the Project Manager Principal Investigator (PI) and academic researchers in the After the Single Use team to ensure the effective management integrity and security of research data.

This post offers an excellent opportunity to work with a variety of distinguished international researchers on a research project examining the history circulation and future of single-use plastics in healthcare.

This post is fixed-term (for 48 months until no later than 31 August 2029) and part-time (7 hours per week).

The salary for this post is at Grade UE06: 34610 to 39906 per annum pro-rata.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • An appropriate degree in social science or humanities including a qualitative research component.

  • Evidence of successfully completing training in Data Management Planning Open Research and Data Security.

  • Experience of implementing Research Data Management policies and of good practice during a research project.

  • Demonstrable understanding of ethical issues related to qualitative health research data management.

  • Excellent skills in planning organising prioritising and time management with the ability to manage a diverse workload identifying priorities and being flexible when they shift while still meeting key targets.
