Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver

Baldwin & Shell Construction Company is looking for a Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver who will thrive in our company.

This position is located at our warehouse in North Little Rock AR. This is a full-time position with a typical work schedule of Monday Friday 7am 3:30pm.

The Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver plays a key role in supporting construction operations by ensuring materials equipment and tools are efficiently managed transported and organized. This position is responsible for both warehouse operations and safe timely deliveries to job sites. With a strong focus on safety organization and teamwork the role ensures the smooth flow of materials to and from job sites supporting project timelines and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Input and export data from company systems (transfers requisitions purchase orders time entries etc.).
• Prepare and verify orders for job site deliveries checking for accuracy and quality.
• Assist with shipping receiving and proper storage of materials; complete all required paperwork.
• Conduct inventory counts as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Properly tag and track tools and equipment.
• Coordinate deliveries with office staff superintendents and vendors.

• Safely transport materials equipment and tools to and from the warehouse and job sites using company vehicles.
• Load and unload materials ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
• Inspect delivery vehicles before and after trips ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Plan efficient delivery routes to minimize travel time and ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate with dispatchers warehouse staff and site supervisors to coordinate schedules.
• Assist construction crews with unloading and placement of materials at job sites.
• Verify order accuracy and deliver to the correct location.
• Provide professional customer service to site personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness organization and readiness of delivery vehicles.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws practicing defensive driving techniques.
• Monitor traffic conditions road closures and site locations to plan routes effectively.
• Provide feedback to improve delivery operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid drivers license.
• Be able to read and adhere to labels safety warnings and guidelines.
• Be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Excel at both verbal and written communication.
• Pursuant to the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593 this position is a designated safety-sensitive position according to Baldwin & Shell standards and processes.

Preferred: Class A CDL (not required).
