Job Description:

Learn more at successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting Global Securitys mission of protecting J&J employees contractors global travelers facilities and assets. Reporting to the Regional Security Director with program oversight by the Senior Director of Intelligence and Investigations this Regional Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for monitoring analyzing and reporting on current and emerging threats to drive and manage awareness and risk mitigation strategies with a particular emphasis in the North American region. The role will have a strategic operational and tactical focus requiring the production of a wide range of estimative explanatory and quantitative analysis and briefings. Of equal importance the selectee will be required to provide intelligence-related support to corporate security investigations and serve as a master user of the case management database. A highly qualified candidate will have strong research analysis and communications skills and be technologically proficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Intelligence support to Regional Security Directors and Managers as well as Global/Regional/Local Operations Centers.
  • Develop track and prepare quantitative reports to include but not limited to Key Performance Indicators and threat trends.
  • Within the assigned region lead produce and edit written analytical reports to include travel risk assessments in support of executives travel.
  • Conduct research using open source subscription and security-related services to monitor forecast and assess current and emerging threats focused in the assigned region.
  • Maintain effective cross-functional relationships with key internal security partners/stakeholders particularly during crisis events.
  • Build and leverage relationships with external peers from the public and private sectors.

Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent is required.
  • A Masters degree or equivalent (Areas of Study: Political Science International Relations/Affairs Intelligence Criminal Justice) is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience.
  • 2 years of experience serving in an intelligence-related capacity.
  • Formalized intelligence training on tradecraft and analytic techniques.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Strong ability to collect synthesize and evaluate large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data and draw logical conclusions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently including leading high-visibility tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience briefing senior management/executive leaders.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in the government and/or private sector in an intelligence related capacity.
  • Previous experience using advanced data analytics software and/or geospatial technologies like PowerBI I2 and/or ArcGIS.
  • Understanding of physical security practices principles and risk management.
  • Experience working in an intelligence fusion cell or command center environment.

Other:

  • This position requires in-office presence 4 days per week.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule particularly during crisis periods.

$91000-$147200

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporations performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Companys discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical dental vision life insurance short- and long-term disability business accident insurance and group legal insurance. This position is eligible to participate in the Companys long-term incentive program.
