Job Description
A local general contractor is looking to add a dynamite structural engineer to their team. This is due to ongoing growth within the company....
- Experience (looking for 10 years) as a Structural Engineer for commercial construction projects which include estimating structural components
- Comprehension of construction processes including familiarity with construction materials and estimating quantities
- Experience with estimating software preferred
- Ability to read site plans and develop cost estimates efficiently
- Works well in a team environment and possesses excellent communication skills
- Organized self-motivated fast learner able to multitask and meet deadlines
- Communicate effectively with the sub-contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project
- Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project which include the estimation team management team sub-contractors and laborers
- Keep a positive attitude & set an example as a leader that all crew members enjoy working with
