Job Title: Development and Donor Relations Manager
FLSA: Exempt
Status: Full-time
Reports To: Director of Development
Job Purpose: To support the Development Department including focusing on donor events that help the Museum achieve fundraising and budget goals.
Time Allocation: Monday-Friday occasional evenings and weekends

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as the liaison to the Museums fundraising committees managing meetings communication and building relationships;
Plan and executes all fundraising events; manages all event details and follow-up assists and coordinates sponsorship and auction item solicitation and communicates details with staff Board and committees;
Work with Director of Development on the cultivation of donors; help to identify additional recognition and engagement opportunities for donors; and plan cultivation events throughout the year;
Oversee donor relations activities including special mailings and gift deliveries;
Support overall development efforts;
Participate in trainings as required by the organization;
Perform other duties as assigned;
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelors degree in nonprofit management communications business or related field;
Three to five years of experience working in a development department or nonprofit organization;
Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills;
Strong work ethic;
Ability to work effectively as a team member as well as independently;
Ability to multi-task with a high level of output detail and accuracy;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office application and working knowledge of Raisers Edge preferred or other CRM software;
