Job Description
General Description:The Franklin Public Schools a prek-12 district is seeking a skilled and experienced Educational Support Professional (ESP) to join the preschool team at the Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC). The ESP will work with lead teacher in a model of service delivery offering learning academic social emotional behavioral and physical support to children with and without disabilities in integrated classrooms. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide positive behavior supports and interventions for children with and without disabilities.
- Work with lead teacher to provide academic social and emotional support and intervention
- Work collaboratively with the early childhood team of teachers and therapists
- Collect data
- Associate degree or higher or ParaPro Certification
- Experience in early childhood/special education
- Experience working with children with Autism and other developmental disabilities required
- Able to take initiative and work independently
- Knowledge of early childhood development
- ABA experience preferred
- Must successfully pass Criminal Offender (CORI) background check and national fingerprinting screening (CHRI).
