The Total Health and Wellness Coordinator is responsible for developing coordinating and promoting health wellness and prevention initiatives that support the holistic well-being of students faculty and staff. This role integrates physical mental emotional and social wellness into campus life by providing education programming resources and referrals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with campus departments (e.g. Counseling Center Student Health Athletics Dining Services and Residence Life) to integrate wellness education into student and employee experiences.
- Serve as a resource and advocate for student health wellness and accessibility needs.
- Provide confidential guidance and referrals to counseling medical or community-based health services.
- Coordinate wellness check-ins and outreach for at-risk students.
- Partner with faculty staff and community health organizations to expand wellness opportunities on and off campus.
- Organize health fairs screenings and fitness challenges to promote engagement in wellness activities.
- Collect and analyze data on program participation student needs and health trends to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Research best practices and emerging trends in student health and wellness to inform program development.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Public Health Health Education Counseling Social Work Wellness Management or related field required; Masters degree preferred.
- 24 years of experience in health promotion wellness program coordination student affairs or a related role.
- Must be able top lift 10 pounds.
